Beginning qigong
Dates: ongoing class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
No class on Friday, September 12

Time: 10:00 am - noon

Cost: $20 per session; drop-ins welcome
Prerequisite
: open to everyone

Discover the basics of qigong internal awareness, movement, breathing, and meditation through this gentle, exploratory class. You will learn standing meditation, Eight Pieces of Brocade. Five Animal Play, and other Taoist methods, to relax the body, quiet the mind, and cultivate health.

Advanced qigong meditation
Dates: ongoing class on Wednesdays

Time: 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Location: Tao at Play - see below
Cost: $20 per session
Registration required: email info@taoatplay.com (no drop-ins)
Prerequisite: by permission of instructor

This class is kept small, so it's more of a private lesson with the benefit of group meditation. Material covered will be aimed at what participants need to support their ongoing practice.

The building is on the corner of Eastlake Avenue East and East Louisa Street, right across from Rogers Playground.

Parking
There's street parking on Eastlake and Louisa. If you have a disabled parking permit, turn on Louisa, then enter the uncovered parking lot to the east of the building. There is a disabled parking bay to the right of the entrance to the second floor.
